Mathias Brochhausen

Since 2011 Dr. Mathias Brochhausen is Assistant Professor for Biomedical Informatics at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences, Little Rock AR, USA (for new contact data, please see below). From 2005 to 2011 he was researcher at the Institute of Formal Ontology and Medical Information Science (IFOMIS)[1], Saarbrücken, Germany and was part of the Institute Management of IFOMIS. From 2006 to 2011 he served as Executive Director of the European Consortium of Ontological Research (ECOR)[2].

Mathias Brochhausen holds a PhD (Dr. phil.) and a Masters degree (M.A.) in Philosophy from Johannes Gutenberg-University, Mainz. Besides Philosophy he has studied Physical Anthropology and Sociology.
