Dr. Mathias Brochhausen is a researcher at the Institute of Formal Ontology and Medical Information Science (IFOMIS)[1], Saarbrücken, Germany since September 2005. He is part of the Institute Management of IFOMIS. Since December 2006 he is Executive Director if the European Consortium of Ontological Research (ECOR)[2].
Mathias Brochhausen holds a PH.D. (Dr. phil.) and a Masters degree (M.A.) in Philosophy from Johannes Gutenberg-University, Mainz. Besides Philosophy he has studied Physical Anthropology and Sociology.
